We teach how to SHOOT & EDIT with EXPRESSION [using modules from the National Curriculum] - and EDITING SKILLS that are transferable to any DV Editing software [PC or Apple].
On our courses, emphasis is on encouraging transference of
Basic Windows SKILL's in to a Digital Video environment.
Where videos are
      ASSEMBLED by DRAG and DROP
      EFFECTS are applied by DRAG and DROP
      Audio and titles again are added by DRAG and DROP

The main EDITING SKILL is DRAGGING the edges of clips to TRIM the IN and OUT points.
We show not only 
How to Trim but also What to look for.
The ART comes with applying filters and setting the pace.

From Course to CD-Book.
Our book
Digital Video for Teachers was condensed from the notes of our INSET day training course, and includes our latest CD.
Our PUPIL CD-Book [DVxNC] contains 60 video tutorials covering moving image theory, shooting & editing a "pdf" document with 120 A4 full colour pages illustrated with 240 images and screen shots, and video clips to build the three worked example tutorials.

Oxford Digital Video have provided on-site courses for staff of several UK concerns, Red Cross,
Cancer Research UK, John Lewis [Bristol], MBDA
